Grov is one of Sweden's most traditional snus brands: Wilhelm Hellgren's tobacco factory was founded in Stockholm in 1840, and the brand was registered in 1872. "Grov" means coarse – the tobacco is ground more coarsely and has a loyal following, especially in Northern Sweden. Today, Grov is produced by Swedish Match (Philip Morris International).
